ChatGPT now supports image tweaks

If you use ChatGPT Plus, you’ve likely already had fun getting it to create images. This week has seen a new update, allowing you to tweak images you’ve created - check out the example below!

1. Create an image

2. Click the image and click “Select”:

3. Select the area(s) of the image you want to modify

4. In the chat window add your desired modification.

Why this matters to Kiwi leaders

Image generation is still a new field, but the advances (and ease of use) are increasing each week. Getting used to generating and editing images is incredibly helpful for creating presentations, quick prototypes for testing - and social media posts.

02 — PRO TIP ✨

Use Microsoft Copilot to access ChatGPT Plus functionality for free

The free version of ChatGPT is incredibly powerful - but it is limited to text in, text out.

To interact with (and generate) files and images, you can upgrade to their paid version, ChatGPT Plus, for USD 20 per month.

However…

As of writing, you can access this same exact same functionality for free by using “Microsoft Copilot”.

The exact functionality they offer seems to regularly change, but we’ve found that download the Microsoft Edge browser (for either Mac or Windows), and using the built in Bing/Copilot feature on the right hand side gives the most functionality.

Note

As you can tell from how things are worded above, this is a bit of a moving target. If you are using ChatGPT Plus functionality regularly and getting good value from it, we recommend paying the USD 20 for the certainty that it will be there when you need it!

03 — PROMPT TIP 💡

Extract Text

Let’s say you’ve got a bunch of information, and you want to extract just a certain type of information; name, address, tracking link, region etc.

You could go through and edit the text, or copy/paste the values you want, but this is slow, error prone and boring.

You can ask ChatGPT to extract just the information you want, and it will use it’s knowledge of language to work out which information you want extracted.

Bonus tip: this is the perfect example of where ChatGPT can save small amounts of time throughout the day and removal little boring manual tasks.
